By William Shakespeare

Directed by Angélica Rogel

Plot

The most well-known work by William Shakespeare addresses themes such as revenge, madness, death, and loyalty. It revolves around the grief that Hamlet experiences after his father's murder and its consequences. In this proposal, Hamlet is not a matter of State; it is a domestic tragedy. From its origin, what permeates the atmosphere is the theme of family pain, betrayal, and orphanhood. What if this English tragedy is reinvented as a family tragedy? What if this once bourgeois family, which has been losing its status, becomes embroiled in a murder plot? What if the daughter, who seemingly has nothing to do with it, discovers the murder and begins to weave a revenge? That's the premise.
