Las Tres Hermanas

The Prózorov sisters - Masha, Olga and Irina - live with their brother Andréi in Russia. A year after the father of the family died, they started a new life in Moscow. They are tired of their current situation: Olga, single who will spend the years without getting married; Masha, wife of an old teacher, whom she perceives as a mediocre and Irina, the youngest who still believes in the future. A regiment has just been installed in the village. Masha and Irina are subject to the amorous intentions of some soldiers. However, the military detachment leaves the town, sinking the sisters hopes. Olga finally accepts the Principal’s position of the local school and the three sisters finally conforms with their destiny.
